Review: Motorola V8
The new Motorola V8 Razr cell phone is a stylish addition to Motorola’s existing line of sleek cell models.
The new Motorola V8 is a swanky looking clamshell-opening 3G handset that is manufactured from a strong and durable stainless steel casing. The phone itself comes in a rich, red colour that has an appealing, eye-catching effect.
The 3G phone comes with dual high resolution colour screens for maximum visibility in all light conditions. The external screen of this handset is 2 inches in size and comes with a large screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The screen has outstanding clarity with a 262k colour display and a soft touch-sensitive keypad.
The Motorola V8 handset itself is measured at 103m high by 53mm width by 13.3mm depth and weighs 125 grams, including the battery. This slender handset is thin enough to comfortably carry in the pocket.
Included in the features of the Motorola V8 is the ability to do all the usual phone tasks including store contact details, messages and take photos by means of the 2 mega pixel camera. The cell has a huge 45 MB of internal memory. Users can even extend this memory by using a 2GB MicroSD memory card for additional photos, videos and audio.
The Motorola V8 is equipped with EDGE, a a fantastic new high speed technology that guarantees transfers are up to three times faster than GPRS.
