Review: Nokia E75
The Nokia E75 is the latest and smartest phone for Nokia to add to its collection. It has been attracting a decent level of hype due to its many innovative and functional features including a QWERTY keyboard slider, a 3.2 mega pixel camera and outstanding sound quality for multimedia playback.
At 139 grams with dimensions of 14.4mm x 50mm x 11.8mm, the Nokia E75 is just big enough to be comfortable and small enough to be attractive. The phone, which is in the CandyBar Formfactor, fits snugly into the users palm. The phone maintains the high quality the Nokia E series has shown so far.
Of its strong points, the Nokia E75 boasts 2.4 inch QVGA display with a 16 million colour display and 240 x 320 resolution. It gives good readability, even in harsh light situations. It has an impressive 3.2 mega pixel camera with digital zoom, auto focus and LED flash. The QWERTY keyboard is big enough to be comfortable and small enough to avoid being cumbersome.
Of its flaws, the loudspeaker of the Nokia E75 is not loud enough and the keys used in N-gage gaming do not use the full potential of the QWERTY keyboard. It is also not easy to open the memory card slot and finger impressions appear easily after light use of the phone.
