Review: Nokia N71
The Nokia N71 is targeted at consumers who want their cell phone to function as more than just a communication device, yet do not want to break the bank spending on something that has more features than they will ever use.
The first thing to observe about the Nokia N71 is that it is a tad bulky and much larger than the current breed of clamshell phones on the market. The colour scheme of grey and silver is nothing special, and does not help its bumbling design become any more aesthetically pleasing. As far as styling is concerned, the Nokia N71 isn’t going to win any awards, but the host of features packed into this valuable device compensates more than enough.
The 2 Mega pixel camera is on the average end of the market, but does the job. The results are indistinguishable either on a standalone digital camera or on other camera phones. The Nokia N71 supports an LED flash and has multiple shooting modes including portrait, landscape, sport, text and so on. It is helped in part due to a unique feature for sightseeing photography, where you only switch the camera on once and it automatically switches on when you open the clamshell again.
